New page! So the colouring for this comic takes a million years… well, like 6-8 hours in reality. Nonetheless, that a lot of time in between other projects, work, etc. So I’ve decided to tone down some of the detail for the web version. I’m working on the print and ebook version of book one right now, which will be the first 37 pages of the comic. In the future, the print and ebook version will have the detailed colouring, but the free webcomic won’t. That was I can do them in batches and get a little remuneration for my time :)

If you are a subscriber, you will also get the fancy comic pages as well. Just because you are so awesome for supporting me. Hopefully with the toned down colouring I can increase the number of pages I do per week, but we’ll have to see. I want to do a few pages first to judge the time it takes.

I love this page so much. I hope you don’t mind that I took a bit of extra time to make the second panel background that much sweeter. I realised that the painting is much more solid if I do a good sketch beforehand rather than just try to paint it straight. It helps a lot with composition.

If you didn’t notice, Even in Arcadia was blacked out yesterday to protest SOPA/PIPA. If you haven’t called your representatives yet, you should. It’s never too late to advocated for an open internet.

Oh, would you look at that? It’s a new page. Whenever I write these little blurbs, I always feel stupidly dull, so I won’t bore you with more than an update. There’s not really much in terms of news anyways, except that the comic will be updating regularly again now!
