I’m not going to lie, I had a tough time with this page. I lost all my steam halfway through, got it back and then went nuts on the colouring. I’m posting this at 8am not because I got up early to do so, but because I was addicted to painting all night long.  It’s been a long time since I pulled an all nighter, I don’t know how my aging body is going to take it :P

Oh, I’m sure I’ll live.

So, it’s time for Christmas, which means I get to take my annual 2 weeks off. The comic won’t update again until January 2, 2012. I think I’m going to overdose on Skyrim for the next 3 days and then bust into some writing and concept work for Even in Arcadia. I have a few new characters and environments that need to be designed for the upcoming pages in Chapter 2. If you are a subscriber to the Atheneum, you’ll get to check these out in the coming weeks. Plus I’m feeling the urge to do a little art for fun, so subscribers will get to partake in some of that as well. Not to worry, with non EiA art, I’ll eventually post it to my deviantart account… when I finally get the chance to.

Hey look! It’s a comic page! So yeah, I’m thinking I’m going to officially change the update day to Thursday because I can’t seem to find the time to get back on to a Tuesday schedule. I’m cool with this, because I love to have a shifting schedule to keep from getting too routine (I’m the kind of person who gets really bored of that, my perfect job is one that’s constantly changing schedules). Hopefully you guys are cool with it too! Thus, page 5 of Chapter 2 will be up next Thursday!

I’m getting along in writing the story bible of Even in Arcadia, I’m thinking of sharing some of it on The Atheneum. Not to worry, dear reader, when the comic gets further along I will probably end up making a wiki. I love doing things like that, it’s almost a compulsion ^^;
