Here’s a recipe for Spiced Brownies, specifically for the cold winter nights!

The egg alternative at the bottom of the recipe works really well in baking. I’ve used those exact measurements in cakes, cornbread and muffins. It might make the brownies a little more dense (or fluffy, if you use too much baking powder), but the chemistry is sound. It’s doesn’t make the recipe vegan, because of the Ganache and butter and all, but Tomato is less pissed when people don’t eat eggs ;)

Julian Assange was arrested, eh? The whole mess is so terrible and obvious. Anyone who knows me know of my propensity for freedom of information. I kind of want to volunteer to help wikileaks in some way, because they are going to do great things for us.

Today’s recipe is Grilled Ratatouille!

I got a migraine in my sleep. So my brain is dumb today. I’m going to watercolour paint and watch the Venture brothers, because that seems fitting for my state of mind.

The next recipe will be on Tuesday! I guess it’s December… perhaps I will do some baking recipes! I do like to bake.

First off, I would like to thank all of the fabulous people who supported us during Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Without people like you guys, independent comics wouldn’t be able to function. It’s pretty much impossible to do comics as a hobby, so most artists have to settle for part time jobs or even take time off to finish their projects and it’s always nice when you can get a little bit of money to keep supporting the time (and print runs) it takes to make an indie comic.

I would also like to point out that we are at the end of this first Tomato Chicken story. I don’t have a new arc planned for the next while, but there will be recipe comics! This Friday will be the super special extra update with our second recipe and then a new recipe will be updated once a week on Tuesdays. I’m planning, thumbnailing and starting to draw a new comic that will be up in the beginning-middle of January, so a new Tomato Chicken story won’t be in the works for the next few months. Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy doing a little cooking!
