Finally, an new page of Anatta! We’ve finished writing the next two chapters and Wei is in full focus after Portland. We’re working Anatta back into our schedule, which is turning out to be a lot of fun. It’s like reconnecting with an old friend.

Conversation at Hara’s: New vote incentive for Anatta

While I’m finishing up my class projects and getting things ready for March Convention Madness, we’re featuring a new voting incentive for Anatta. It is a short story by Wei called “Conversation at Hara’s” that is featured in Vancouver comic collective Cloudscape’s annual anthology. This will be the only place on the internet you will be able to view the comic for these upcoming months. The incentive will update every Monday, so there will be plenty of time for people to meander over to take a look. I know that many of our visitors only stop by once a week or so, and since Anatta doesn’t update more often than that, it doesn’t make sense to try and get people to vote for a site without new content!

Thanks to everyone for their support, and I hope you enjoy the science fiction short story “Conversation at Hara’s”.

The new page! I feel like I can totally update this comic on time, I’ve decided to focus entirely on Anatta, because it deserves it. I’m still doing the sketch comic for Airship Arc Winds, but it won’t be as pretty.

A new page is available for viewing! So, the Olympics are coming to our city and everything is going to shut down for about 2 weeks. I’m going to take the time to do some website maintenance and put everything up for Airship Arc Winds. I have some cool website design ideas that I would like to try out with comicpress.

Lotus Root Children is supposed to be updating, but I think Wei forgot about it in the flux of his millions of projects. He’s doing something for a Zuda competition right now. The comic is great, but it conflicts with my undying hatred of Zuda and everything it stands for. Webcomics were fine without DC thankyouverymuch. I’m not looking forward to their application of terribly thought out business models on the internet. They killed print in North America, I have little faith they will do something amazing with webcomics.

I can imagine I’m going to get a torrent of pissed off DC fans over that particular opinion. My defense: no one reads DC comics because they are DC comics and Zuda is a terribly crappy way of bringing American Idol judging to a comic sector that was just getting on its feet. I don’t read Zuda comics because of their slow flash interface, and I like to read my regular comics on my iPhone.

Another page of Anatta is coming right up! I’m a painting machine. On another note, we also have a donation box for Anatta. If you have a few extra dollars to throw our way, we would appreciate it greatly. I know times is tight, so no pressure.

In other news, I have a computer again! I complained loudly enough that Acer fixed it for free. Thank you to everyone who sent words of support during my super-rageosity.

A new page has been added to Chapter Three of Anatta. I’ve been painting backgrounds for way too long, I’m starting to see them in my peripheral vision.
I’ve been honestly trying to keep a schedule with Anatta, but I have to be the worst person at schedules ever. I’m aiming for Mondays for sure, with a possible second update on Fridays. Fridays are not guarenteed though, so think of it as an added bonus when it’s up.
