Here’s one of my favourite recipes for tomato salad.

I was finally able to put Lotus Root Children on Amazon.ca, but not as a vendor. They asked me to sign up with a professional seller’s account, something which we simply can’t afford. Luckily they were having a December special where the first month is free. So I’m using this month to create all my listings and then downgrading to avoid the heafty monthly fee. I know, as indie comic artists, we ask a lot from our readers, and you guys always give back in turn. If you do have a minute or two, please check out our amazon page, and leave us a review if you have the book! While it’s not economical for our readers to buy our book on Amazon right now (go to our online store, the shipping is half the price), if we can show demand for our books it will be cheaper for everyone to buy online there. It’s always an uphill battle, self publishing these comics.

Of course, I wouldn’t give it up for anything. As long as Wei and I are breathing, the comics will still be made.

The exception being the next two weeks, it being Christmas and all. I’m not a big fan of this particular holiday, but it’s important to my mom, so I’ll be too busy being a good daughter next week to update. The week after Wei and I will be travelling to Portland to visit our fabulous friend Kev Kev of Kevington, so the next update of Tomato Chicken will be January 4, 2011. It’s going to be a recipe for one of my favourite pasta sauces, made with large amounts of delicious tomatoes and completely vegetarian (although easily adapted for the meat eater, as usual!).

If you have any desires for particular recipes, do leave me a comment, I’m always open to reader’s requests.

Happy Holidays!
